Understanding The Crucial Importance
Of Renewable Energy
WORLD ENERGY CRISiS – A stark warning from former Shell Chairman :

Energy is the Fuel for development: The global demand for energy is rising rapidly mainly due to a massive urbanization of huge developing countries like China and India. Emissions from conventional energy production like coal burning techniques or nuclear energy plants are major causes for air and water pollution, destruction of the Ozone Layer and the overwhelming effect of Climate Change.
In order to prevent the environmental disaster predicted by scientists around the world, the EU and several other countries have decided to convert up to 20% of electricity production to non-conventional clean methods
Since fuel costs are rising and oil resources are diminishing, many developing, countries cannot afford oil prices, while major western societies become dependant on oil supply from hostile countries. In order to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and secure sustainable development, all governments must explore and implement diversification of their energy sources.

The use of Renewable Energy production is a major key for securing economic stability and national security. According to the International Energy Agency:
“accelerated deployment of renewable energy can significantly reduce CO2 emissions, enhance energy production and further reduce technology costs.
The key message from the IEA is:
“Getting to the Alternative Policy Scenario
and beyond is possible but will require rapid
implementation of strong government policies” .
